New molecule blocks chlamydia
A new therapy could soon limit the the damage caused by chlamydia, according to US university researchers.
Researchers have developed a molecule able to block the damaging actions of the sexually transmitted infection by taking away the bacteria’s defence mechanisms.
The discovery could lead to a new drug that prevents future contraction of chlamydia, the researchers said.
