Can Epididymitis Induce Premature Ejaculation?

Epididymitis is an inflammation of the epididymis in men. The epididymis is a vital sexual organ in the male reproductive system. If there is a lesion, it will indeed affect the normal sexual function of men and cause premature ejaculation.

How does epididymitis induce premature ejaculation?

Epididymitis may also cause premature ejaculation. Epididymitis is a relatively common reproductive system disease, mainly caused by the infection of pathogenic bacteria. Local pain will appear when the disease first develops. Patients may also have systemic reactions as the disease progresses, such as high fever, chills, and severe pain. In extreme cases, it can affect men's sexual function, which can cause premature ejaculation and varicocele.

For men with premature ejaculation caused by epididymitis, there is no need to worry about anything. As long as the epididymitis can be cured as soon as possible, then the problem of premature ejaculation will be solved slowly. Most of the epididymitis is caused by bacterial infection, so it is necessary to do an excellent job of anti-inflammatory work.

Patients need to keep warm during the treatment process, do heat therapy, and elevate the scrotum to reduce the symptoms. If epididymitis is not effectively treated, it can easily cause men to suffer from chronic epididymitis. It will result in persistent male disease. During the treatment of epididymitis, it is still possible to have sexual intercourse, although there is the problem of premature ejaculation.

Many causes and diseases lead to premature ejaculation, such as long foreskin, circumcision, and inflammatory infections such as chronic prostatitis, vesiculitis, epididymitis, etc. If premature ejaculation occurs, men should first go to the hospital for examination to determine the condition. And if it is epididymitis, men need to receive timely treatment.

Common treatment suggestions for epididymitis

Patients can choose antibacterial drugs that are sensitive to bacteria to reduce inflammation and relieve pain symptomatically. Surgery to remove the epididymis is not recommended if the condition is not severe.

I. Treatment of acute epididymitis

The onset of acute epididymitis is sudden, with high fever and tugging pain in the lower abdomen and groin. The examination will show elevated white blood cells, and the affected epididymis is swollen with pressure pain. Antibacterial drugs should be chosen to be sensitive to bacteria. Usually, after 1 to 2 weeks of intravenous administration, oral antibacterial drugs should be taken for 2 to 4 weeks to prevent the disease from turning into chronic inflammation.

II. Treatment of chronic epididymitis

Chronic epididymitis is caused mainly by acute epididymitis, not in time. Patients will feel dull pain and swelling in the scrotum, and the epididymis will increase and harden to different degrees during the examination.

Chronic prostatitis is generally treated with drugs first. For example, herbal medicine Diuretic and Anti-inflammatory Pill have a good anti-inflammatory and sterilizing effect. Diuretic and Anti-inflammatory Pill can promote blood circulation, remove blood stasis, clear away heat and detoxify, and effectively treat male genitourinary diseases. And the recurrence rate after cure is shallow.

Chronic epididymitis can also be treated by topical application of berberine or neomycin plasma infiltration in the epididymis. If there is chronic prostatitis, it must be treated at the same time.

During epididymitis, men should avoid sexual life and physical labor to avoid aggravating the infection, and sexual energy is not recommended to be frequent. Men can take a warm water bath for prevention and relief daily, and the water temperature can be controlled at around fifty degrees.

Also, in the diet, patients can eat more vegetables and fruits that contain more fiber, such as bananas, sweet potatoes, celery, etc., to keep the bowels open. Avoid spicy and stimulating foods, such as onion, pepper, chili, pepper, mustard, fennel. Quit smoking and alcohol, avoid coffee and other excitatory drinks.
