Can Tubal Adhesion at fimbrial end be cured with non-surgical treatment?

Tubal adhesion can occur at any part of the fallopian tube. But the most serious one is when it happens on the fimbrial end. Due to the postoperative infection of surgery, more and more women want to cure this type of adhesion with non-surgical treatment. What’s the effect of non-surgical treatment and can the tubal adhesion at fimbrial end be uprooted by non-surgical treatment? Let’s found out the answers one by one.

Western medicines
Antibiotic is one of the most familiar western medicines for us. It is also the most frequently applied non-surgical treatment if there is inflammation or infection. Antibiotics have strong ability of eliminating infection and inflammations, so it is the top choice for tubal conditions, because 99% tubal conditions are caused by infection or inflammation. However, the adhesion at the fimbrial end isn’t just infection or inflammation. It also has adhesion which means the tentacles of fallopian tubes are sticking together and lost their functions. Antibiotic is unable to part the tentacles and maintains the functions. Therefore, western medicine is more suitable for tubal conditions without adhesion.

Physical therapy
Physical therapy such as fomentation, massage and acupuncture and moxibustion also belongs to non-surgical treatment. To reduce lengthen of this article, take the fomentation for example. Fomentation is commonly applied when there is ache or infection, because fomentation can achieve the blood circulation of some certain parts, which is able to relieve the pain and improve the condition indirectly. Therefore it is able to cure the tubal adhesion at the fimbrial end. But to eradicate this condition, it may take years.

Traditional Chinese medicine
With the process of globalization, more and more western people realized the amazing herbal medicine. Therefore TCM is the last one that I want to analyze. Due to the complicated formulating principles of TCM, I love to analyze the fuyan pill. Fuyan pill is a herbal medicine that consist more than 50 herbs. Each of these herbs has different functions. Some can eliminate infection and inflammation, some can clear away stasis or dampness, some can improve the immunity and the self-function and some can reverse the adhesion. Therefore, TCM is able to uproot the tubal adhesion at the fimbrial end for women.

All in all, the tubal adhesion at fimbrial end can be uprooted by non-surgical treatment. But women needs to pick the right treatment based on their situations. If possible, women can also combine some treatment together enhancing the treating effect and shorten the curing time.
