Can birth control pills help with blocked tubes?

Birth control pills are medications that women use to prevent pregnancy. They are one method of birth control. Birth control pills are hormonal preparations that may contain combinations of the hormones estrogen and progestin or progestin alone. Combinations of estrogen and progestin prevent pregnancy by inhibiting the release of the hormones luteinizing hormone (LH) and follicle stimulating hormone (FSH) from the pituitary gland in the brain. Progestin also makes the uterine mucus that surrounds the egg more difficult for sperm to penetrate.

Some patients wondered whether birth control pills can help with blocked tubes. The following is explanation to this question.

Regardless of the side effects of birth control pills, in some way, a hormone released by birth control pills could prevent the reproductive tract infections that may cause pelvic inflammatory disease, endometriosis and tubal blockage. The risk of developing benign breast cysts, ovarian cysts, pelvic inflammatory disease, and tubal pregnancy are reduced by taking birth control pills. Birth control pills are also associated with a markedly decreased risk of uterine cancer and ovarian cancer. It is worth mentioning that the effect is minimal. By taking birth control pills to cure blocked tubes is like "drinking poison to end thirst" -- trying to solve a problem without considering the side effects. What’s more, birth control pills do not offer any protection against sexually transmitted infections. We recommend using condoms with birth control pills to protect against sexually transmitted infections.

Birth control pills may not be suitable for every woman. Some women experience side effects which can include: nausea, breast tenderness, slight weight gain, vomiting, or headaches. Side effects may go away after 3 months. A small number of women experience more serious complications including cardio vascular complications (heart attacks, strokes, blood clots in the veins).

Birth control pills have been used in US for over 50 years. Safe and effective, they are one of the most extensively studied medications in the US. But if you get blocked tubes or other gynecological diseases, you 'd better take professional treatment and medicine like “Fuyan pills”, a traditional Chinese medicine, which not only had anti-inflammatory effects, but also would balance human body's internal environment. It has both of these curative effects, which are vital important for the cure of the blocked tubes or other gynecological diseases.
