A new finding about the correlations Of Interstitial Cystitis/Painful Bladder Syndrome with Female S

Many researchers have reported that chronic pain like bladder pain or pelvic pain leads to sexual dysfunction. The greater the severity of pain, the greater is the degree of sexual dysfunction. A medical organization conducted a questionnaire-based, cross sectional study to examine in detail whether pain and urinary symptoms are correlated with the sex lives of patients with Interstitial Cystitis/Painful Bladder Syndrome(IC/BPS).

Eighty-seven female patients diagnosed with IC/BPS were evaluated with the Bristol female lower urinary tract symptom questionnaire. Of these, 39 were menopausal. Eight met a definition of "interstitial cystitis" because they had test on endoscopy, and the remainder of the 87 patients were designated "painful bladder syndrome." The mean age of the patients was 51 years and at the time of diagnosis the mean disease duration was 63-147 days. Perhaps because these patients were newly symptomatic, every patient answered "yes" to having "recent sexual activity."

A slight positive correlation was found between patient age and vulvodynia. There was a moderate negative correlation between age and dyspareunia. Vulvodynia scores were worse in menopausal women than in non-menopausal women, but dysparueunia scores were better. Inhibited sex life and dyspareunia showed positive correlation with vulvodynia, as would be expected. Overall, 38.5% of these women had no problems with sexual intercourse and 33.8% had no dyspareunia. Forty percent of the patients experienced urinary incontinence during sexual intercourse.

The report noted that the severity of symptoms caused increased sexual dysfunction. So once suffering from this disease, patients need to take a timely treatment. The oral medicines like tricyclic antidepressants, antihistamines and pentosan are commonly used in western medicine. However, how they work is still unknown that only some patients feel pain relief and up to six months to experience a decrease in urinary frequency.

In clinic, only getting a relief from the pain or urinary symptoms is not enough for the patients, they need to find a cure to get rid of these annoying symptoms. The good news is that many patients with this disease get a cure from a new herbal medicine – Diuretic and Anti-inflammatory pill in China.

The herbal pill is formulated from over 50 natural herbs with the combination of ancient prescriptions. “The reason why patients have sexual dysfunction is that patients have psychological disorder due to the pain syndrome. Once the pain caused by IC is cured, their sexual actively will be normal” says Wuhan Dr. Lee Xiaoping, the inventor of the herbal medicine.

The new herbal pill’s functions like clearing away heat and killing bacteria, activing blood and dispersing blood stasis, promoting Qi and relieving pain make the Interstitial Cystitis/Painful Bladder Syndrome can be cured radically and effectively.
